Having full of energy "The Voice" and pursued more than enjoyed the high level, I walked out of nothing more than a high-quality album of Ivy. Unfortunately, expectations were bitter disappointment. Often the blend has come as a criticism addressed. I have to agree. Since I've finally a vocally talented singer at hand and bring it finished far from it to mix in the foreground. Therefore, probably the many "small voice" comments. Ivy sings excellently, but the mix is scrap. The depth of several songs is also rather modest, ranking at the level of many other casting shows. The different styles of songs may be refreshingly varied for many, however, I felt it more likely that you austestet diverse musical genres to see which is best suited for Ivy's voice (my personal opinion here would be jazz and soul ala Xavier or Norah Jones, but not these mainstream pop). One or two pearls can be found on this album, but the really lousy mixed and perceived arbitrariness of songs from a certain point are unbearable, which one the frequent Listen is spoiled. While it may be true that you have to quickly shoot out an album after the show, but you would have with the songs choosing something to take more on the talents and nuances of Ivy and her voice rather than blend into the background. I can only hope that she holds long enough in the business, to bring out a 2nd plate can, the more you will gradually less after mainstream because it is anything but the latter.
