Rome 2 is not bad, but compared to the ingenious Shogun 2 I see it as a step backwards. The game had to start very many quirks, the AI still has dropouts, just behaves in diplomacy simply incomprehensible ... Unquestionably, that game looks great on the world map is (I think) larger than ever, some new ideas to enrich the game (not others), in total the game but will not be better. A fan of the series will have fun with it, who has encountered the "Total War" series in search of a nice strategy game, which I would continue to recommend Shogun 2.
