Wow, what a story! I would not imagine how awful this story would have been me, I would have heard in the dark on fire - luckily I have heard only on the way to work on public transport! ;) Seriously, a fantastic production that deserves the stamp "chamber of horrors" to 100%. The interplay between the two main protagonists reminds me of the old Europe radio play Dracula meets Frankenstein in which the late Horst Frank and his Brigitte Kollecker similar playing together. The latter is then also that the female lead assumes here, and thus a great tribute to old times and delivers himself. The story itself is perfect - everything that makes an old-English ghost story, is: an eerie forecast, a lot of fog, an old chapel ... For the full horror flair the "story within the story" would (Laura reads her Jack before a self-written Schauer story by the fireplace, which occupies a large portion of the radio play) does not have to be, the plot would have worked so smoothly. We must have the production quality of Titania here no longer speak - which is expected to top level.
