Already when unpacking immediately notice that was considerably saved despite the same price range. The material quality is much cheaper, everything just simple plastic. While the predecessor of the volume control still massively affected, the display was a well-read VFD and the keys have a nice tactile feedback, this model takes off no longer of any cheap products from discounters.
After all, the functionality is virtually remained consistently good. The sound is fine and stands still propagated by simple factory radio from. The menu is Kenwood-usual because you need not get used. Playback from USB, CD and Bluetooth to function as intended. The speakerphone is easy to use and provides a viable course.
Up to this point it would have been four star, but use showed up after a few months two annoying flaws:
1. The Bluetooth connection works sometimes not entirely accurate. While the phone is connected, both handsfree and music playback function, but the display no title information is displayed. The only remedy is the switching on and off the Bluetooth function.
2. In cold weather, the display flickers and keystrokes are partially not recognized. The error disappears after a few minutes of operation.
Ultimately, I am disappointed by Kenwood. Maybe I caught a Monday device, but one Chicken is currently not an option because I can not do without the radio. Even without the technical defects has simply waned dramatically the quality. Just so even 3 stars.
