Hello There,
Today I want to share my experience for GoPro Hero3 Black with you.
Brief history of the Black purchase decision:
Had borrowed from a friend with for paragliding's a Hero 3 Silver and was thrilled by this camera. After countless hours comparing and reports, I decided, however, for a Black, as the suggested by the advertising value for me was understandable and included remote control also seemed consistent This assumption was a big mistake !!!
Because:
- Videos of Black are colorless and have a gray tinge
- For large contrast differences videos are either very dark or overexposed
- Battery life max. 45min in 1080 / 30p for a paragliding flight or dive too little
- To increase battery life you need the battery pack
> Disadvantage: Camera is almost twice as heavy, larger in size and her reinvested ca.60
- Without firmware update 3:03 to camera hangs up and the battery must be removed, making also stupid when diving or flying :-)
- Despite promised image enhancement through firmware update no improvement

For customer service GoPro generally:
After three mails I have not even received a reply. That's frightening when you consider that you sometimes just 350 invested. Luckily, there are Amazon - the goods have been withdrawn without objection. Only There is the star!

Well I bought the Silver and am thrilled. Rich colors, battery life of 90 minutes without a battery pack in 1080 / 30p and it also depends on nothing! Well, that's why the GoPro Customer has not improved, but I've Amazon as a backup. :-)

Conclusion: Go Pro Hero 3 Black not with their 4K sensor mature reaches for GoPro Hero 3 Silver. Here you get a top HD sensor with decent battery life and you will save even more well 100 for the next holiday!
