I ordered the player because my laptop with HD movies in mkv. Format stuttering shows and my desktop PC is too loud to a movie to watch in peace and to hear especially. The WD HD Media Player was after 2 days with me and just play everything. There has been not even at 1080p movies little stuttering. Did not expect that the operation would be as smooth. Connection via HDMI to my 32 "Toshiba Full HD is also ideal. However, you should to be able to listen to DTS sound, to buy an optical cable and connect it to a receiver, since the player does not decode the format and pass externally needs.
Since I can only give 5 stars !!!!
