Hab gambled through the single-player part with real players and have to say that I am rather disillusioned.

The game is in itself nothing really wrong. The controls are precise, The shooter elements well implemented, the weapons are not bad. Each character has its own strengths, special abilities and specific weapons. So you can act tactically well against quite tough opponents and has to work in a team, otherwise the mission will be lost if one of the colleagues faded away. The graphics are well done. It all comes down smoothly and without any technical inconsistencies.

Now you're thinking you probably why then only 2 stars?

Simply because the game is the whole campaign on very monotonous. Sure, it's a shooter, in a shooter ballert you through hordes of enemies and makes you play so well to satisfy. Only I personally found itself in co-op missions very monotonous, repetitive, and was bored relatively quickly. And that is due to, among other things the boring, uninspired level design and the complete lack of any variety. As I said, it's a shooter, but here you have the feeling that you would same level 10 times consecutively gamble because it changes almost nothing. No anticipation of a really good big bosses with tactics such as in Lost Planet 2, no rail shooter passages, no emissions, reduce the times the pace. Even simple script ala Call of Duty, QuickTime events would have done well here.

It's always the same routine:

By gray, boring and over unspectacular course of any laboratories / military facilities traipse, pressing a pair of switches, climb bit unassuming. Then always followed by a rear table shot battle in a poorly designed, open area. In itself nothing wrong, after all, it's a shooter. Only here you get in between any appreciable change. There pure banging on the assembly line. Head out .... Shooting without a breather.

About the story, I do not waste words, this is, as so often in such games very average and unexciting. I have since also expect anything else.

Also, the acquisition of new skills and upgrades comes across rather less useful because you do not really need these skills in theory. It can be well tried everything done with the trigger finger.

Conclusion: If you not yet fed up of all average shooters has full, can access yes. But who is looking for a special co-op experience, should first perhaps play the demo and decide. Here potential was clearly presented, because as I said, would really what may be good from the shooter with its positive aspects. The boring, uninspired level design and the lack of variety is so not typical of INSOMNIAC. Incessant Dauergeballer without breathers left the game for me often to work. And when that happens you should do a game from the console. I made it through and I'm happy.

For me this is definitely another 08/15 shooter, no more and no less.
