Negatives:
- The specified light intensity comparison is exaggerated. A conventional 50W GY6.35 lamp produces about 850 lm, which is significantly more than the 550 lm propagated and therefore the comparison is misleading. But it is certainly almost equal with a 35W lamp.
- The base information is incorrect. The usual in Germany GY6.35 base has a pin diameter of 1.2 ... 1.3 mm. The lamps but are significantly thinner and hold in some versions therefore not correct. Its base is rather a GX6,35 (pins 1 mm) or no European standard.
- The color of light is only partially enjoyable, this may be the not-so-great color rendering index 75.
- The product is marked with a light color 2800 ... 3000 K. This is a bit cooler than halogen, but just about acceptable. It was delivered but with 3000 ... 3200 K (as printed) and thus actually another article. That's a bit too pale and cold, especially in the living area. Whether the item has been incorrectly described or incorrectly delivered, still needs to be clarified.
Addendum dated 11.10.2013:
One of 3 lamps did not work, just glowed, some LEDs were from all over, flickered the rest. It shows a vulnerability of lamps: They are (by hand) of many small printed circuit boards (aluminum core ceramic?) Soldered together and very sensitive to external force influences. At this lamp were evident earlier (in production?) Solder pads demolished by the carrier and have been trying to fix with greater Lötzinnklecksen bastler standard - apparently without lasting success.
After I had all 3 halogen lamps a 35W replace these bulbs, revealed that the assessment of the brightness was also an illusion. The room is now much darker than before. No, a 35W equivalent lamps are probably not.
