I have a few weeks ago a Samsung SSD 840 with 250GB in my Macbook Pro 2012 (9.1, 15 "Ivy Bridge i7). The SSD has the number MZ7TD256HAFV and is" Made in Korea "
Write throughput is 247-250 MB / s, while reading about 503-510 MB / s. There are no problems and everything is going so far wonderful. I Trim the "TRIM Enabler" turned on since the very beginning. There are loud SmartMonitor no reassignments and no CRC error. So far ok. And since it is my seventh SSD, I have some "horror" collected experiences.

I have the SSD recommended an acquaintance and myself ready she explains in his Macbook Pro Early 2011 (8.2, 15 "Sandy Bridge i7) installed. All went smoothly as expected. SSD detected, cloned HDD with CCC on the SSD. So far so good. I have monitored the SMART data during the cloning, the CRC errors have risen to over 12,000.
