I have been following with great interest the development that is going through the PS3 since its release, as well as the heated discussions that are conducted on their advantages and disadvantages.
Now I announce myself again to speak and would like to mention a few points why the PS3 is in my opinion the better console:

1. The controller is, by the ergonomic point of view, just great. He is great in the hand, the buttons are positioned perfectly and, moreover, the clutter is small, since the pad via "wireless" communicating with the console. Of course, the problem arises from the fact that once the batteries of the pads are empty, you can no longer play. However, with correspondingly long charging cables, which are now offered by some manufacturers, you can continue to gamble without problems.
A major criticism that can be challenged on the new PS3 pad is that the rumble feature is omitted, resulting in a significant loss of fun and experience with them. But on this issue and is working Sony first pads This function have been delivered to game developers. The appearance of this new controller with rumble and Sixaxis function is to my knowledge been scheduled for summer 2008.

2. The argument that the PS3 almost has no exclusive title is true, but the titles appear, partly absolute firecracker, which are worth to be played. In addition to other consoles appear virtually no more exclusives, because this is simply not more rendiert for game developers (apart from Wii titles, but often appeal to other target groups).
Yes, GTA IV is included in the Xbox360 version exclusive content. But I have already read articles in which it is claimed that there is a similar agreement with Sony, where you do not know how much money has flowed since.
Some words to a PS3-exclusive titles: "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots" - Who knows the MGS series, the fact will be aware that this will be the absolute mega game.

3. The PS3 is awesome in terms of graphics, at least as well as other next-gen consoles. Anyway, you have to expect basically no compromises over the competition.
For all next-gen consoles, it is clear that its graphics power can only unfold completely, though the environment is right, that is the TV a corresponding resolution has: at least HD Ready, Full HD optimally. But I think this is absolutely clear to each player! I can also do not complain about a VCR, if I have a black and white televisions at home and then do not see any colors!

4. The subject with the Blu-Ray. Yes, it is true that has not yet decided who will win the race: Blu-Ray or HD-DVD. But is worth noting nevertheless that more and more large corporations go film at least two tracks, if not exclusive to Blu-Ray. Likewise, sales of Blu-Ray in America have the HD DVD already outdated by far. For us a very similar trend can be observed.
Furthermore, I would like an argument list that I think ultimately the decisive argument for the future viability of the PS3 delivers: Blu-Ray discs are used not only for watching movies, but also games for the PS3 on Blu-Ray are fired. In the Xbox360 and Wii only conventional DVDs are used for this purpose. Now we look at the storage capacity, so a fall on to a DVD fit about 5 to 10 GB (single or dual layer) on a Blu-Ray from 25 to 50 GB. This fact should give a thought to, because, to be more elaborate and better games, the more memory you need too! In this context, I have not only read an interview of a games developer, is where doubts softly whether the really good games for the future, given such circumstances. B. for Xbox360 are still as feasible.

5. I also have to admit, the price is juicy. But only at first sight! Because you see, the sales prices of today easier Blu-ray player, so the start only at about 800 euros. With the PS3 you get a full Blu-ray player even omitting can up some more by about 600 euros. In addition, there are already several bundles including 2 games and an extra controller for the same money. Well, quality has its price now times.
Not to be forgotten is the fact that if you want to see on a Xbox360 HD DVD movies, you have to buy an additional external drive to the console !! The total price of Xbox360 + this external drive is a closer look then also not significantly less (if at all) than the current 600 euros for the PS3!

Based on these arguments, I believe that the PS3 is at least as good (if not better) as the other current next-gen consoles, with some benefits that will make them in the future as the winner!
