I want with my vote now even counteract.
To all the people out there who just complain that it is only an addon: What would you want to change because great without destroying the Arkham series and to leave the Batman scenario? Have you thought about this before? If you had installed new gadgets that absolutely do not match Batman, then would certainly appeared the same people and have complained why incorporating gadgets that do not belong to Batman. The only changes you can make without completely departing from the Arkham series and the Batman scenario were implemented by the developers. Besides, I'd rather have a very good game that its predecessor quite similar (because the predecessor was also pointed), as an absolutely new game that can not compete with its predecessor.
That way, the new features in this part:
- A walk Batcave
- The Batwing
- Alfred
- A new story
- More numerous boss fights
- A larger city
- New Equipment
- A ranking system in the fighting
- A new way to upgrade Batman
So why I read here but only that there is nothing new?
Now to my mind:
Positive
- Story: The Story geefällt me better than the predecessor, but that's a matter of taste, as well as you can tell during the story of how Batman evolved and not only regarding equipment, but also with regard to his mood and emotions... Various kinds of things explained and revealed - In addition, in this part - this he plays in front of all the other parts.
- City: The city is greater than in the predecessor and I liked above all the snow-covered roofs and roads better. Although the town is lifeless as in a Spider-Man, but who cares, since one anyway spends most time on the roofs. In addition, there are always police tasks where you have to rescue citizens or police officers.
- Graphics: The graphics I find better than in the predecessor. Of course, the view is limited by the snow (which makes sense, because of the hardware of the current consoles), although it looks very nice when you glide across the illuminated Arkham. A majority of the missions play in indoor levels (as it did in the predecessor) and especially since the graphics will once again significantly prettier than outdoors in the city.
- Sound: The soundtrack is once again great and fit perfectly to the respective situations. The voice-overs are an absolute highlight for me and I intend to release yet gehoftt that they do not change the German voice of Batman. I was not disappointed and even Alfred got the original voice from the movies.
- Time: A few weeks ago you could read that the game time is 12 hours (according to the developers), and because I had to think whether it is worth first. Then, however, it soon became clear that it covers only the playing time of the story is meant that is no different from the playing time of the predecessor. This season is one but surpassed a lot, because there are numerous side quests, ranging from simple collecting tasks to side missions with boss enemies.
- Control: The control is similar to that of its predecessor and at the beginning you know how everything works. Unfortunately, you can not run everything at the beginning as Batman veteran. You have to wait until until it is declared or required by the game. This is handy for beginners, old hands are there but unfortunately somewhat thwarted.
- Battle scars on the suit: Man looks at Batman's suit (the armored clearly more in this part than in the predecessor) scratch on the armor plates and on his mask and holes in his cloak. That looks very authentic and like it better than the previous me, because the only predecessor of Anzu was shredded, but you did not see small details such as scratches.
- Challenge Mode: Even as in the predecessor, there is a challenge mode in which you can do different tasks with different characters. This ranges from simple battle arenas where you have the goal of reaching a certain score, up to tasks where you have to clean a room with enemies. This makes again a lot of fun and makes for a longer season.
- Combat system: The combat system has been taken over from its predecessor, yet it feels a little bit better and more challenging in itself. In Assassin's Creed could loosely done 30 enemies at once, it was no big challenge. But with Batman fighting mainly the same type of enemy is clearly heavier and 5-10 from opponents to get even sweat and approximately 20-30 opponents (eg also in Challenge Mode), it is really an absolute challenge, as well as not always there is ,
Negatives:
!!!! UPDATE !!!!
- After the patch 1.03 problem has been finally solved with the bucking and the very low frame rate, so I cleared out the point here.
The multiplayer still does not work with me, however.
UPDATE !!!! THE END !!!!
- Multiplayer: The multiplayer works Nocht not right, I was able to play only one round so far, otherwise I can not find any players. But you have to say that this is the first multiplayer in a Batman game that looks also really interesting and new. In addition, even with GTA5 the Online mode has to start work nciht and has even now still struggling with serious errors.
Conclusion: I like the whole package better than its predecessor and the developers have done a good job. Only technically has the game even violent problems, but the developers are already doing to fix this. The fact that I had previously seen videos, I also knew what to expect, both story- and gameplay technically. Particularly that's why I also do not understand why some people are surprised by the story and the gameplay. We live in a time in which you can always watch videos. I have no game blindly buy and can let me know in advance. Nevertheless, there are specialists who then complain in reviews about the story, the graphic or gameplay. Since one can only say that the blame clearly lies with the people themselves.
From me, there are currently only 4 stars because of my negative points. Should these negative points are eliminated, I will correct my rating accordingly.
