The Metal Opera Pt 1 & 2 (Gold Edition) (Audio CD)

Customer Review

What Tobias Sammet has managed the first try, get other musicians throughout their career on not really baked.
The remarkable aspect of the whole story is that Mr. Sammet just 23 (!!!) was the work of the two Metal Operas years old.
It speaks for itself, if people like Michael Kiske be persuaded by him to take part in such a project.
More than 10 years have passed country.
A whole decade with countless Edguy- and Avantasia discs that, the competition in terms of melodic metal could always keep at a distance.
The former label of the two bands can now relive the early days of the new Avantasia project.
How can you do that better republish albums with bonus tracks in a very valued package as both "Metal Opera"?
Although, the bonus tracks are quite dispensable, the main program counts!
Those who only have a part of the Metal Opera until now, to be sure to get this beautiful thing.
Many claim that the two CDs of the best Avantasia works include, where can I find the "The Scarecrow" at least as much.
Here the full program of traditional Metal is driven Epic Nummrn beyond the 10 minute mark ("The Tower", "The Seven Angels"), speed numbers that are reminiscent not only because Kiskes singing at old Keeper days ("Reach out for the Light "," No Return, "Chalice of Agony"), hard-hitting neckbreaker ("The Final Sacrifice") or beautiful ballads like "Farewell," "Inside" and "In Quest for" and "Anywhere".
The songs are mostly built up quite straight, but were with great attention to detail so arranged that one even after 20 times by listening still new entdecket elements. In addition, time and again there surprise moments that draw albums in a whole new direction without even begin to water down the entire work.
Thanks to the sensational melodies, the great guest performance of all participating musicians (Ua Michi Kiske, Kai Hansen, Bob Catley, Rob Rock, Timo Tolkki and much more.) And the rousing musical staging similar belong ... No Are "The Metal Opera 1 and 2" the best melodic metal albums of the last decade and every Helloween / o. Classic Metal Fan drive the tears of joy in his eyes.
