As usual manufacturers gives less and less ...
No small case to protect the device during transport.
No cable connection to a camera -> Computer
No memory card adapter (none of which are delivered) and a USB port
No HDMI cable (connect it to the TV for example)
...
Anyway not great.
The only positive is that the charger is independent.
Sony (not the name) must connect the unit directly to the socket with the cord provided with, which can cause some "accident" because it is rather short.
...
Small advice (if you do not have one before): buy a SD memory card (and a small usb adapter) along the device as it has no internal memory.

This is not a manual!
It is a very quick start guide.
Because even if it is thick pages for us are very limited (and it's like that for all other languages)
What does it induces? -> Should fend ALONE to understand and operate the equipment properly.

Please visit the Canon website, look for the device, select the manual download.
Worse if you want to use the cannon software for your computer it will increasingly enter the serial number of the camera!
I wonder if they could not do more complicated ...
Especially as ironically the software asks to plug the device while Canon did not deliver cable!
(Well ok we can do the installation without connecting the device, but they warn that the configuration may not be ideal)
So as you may have read up here: I'm rather very unhappy with this policy of "dem z **** you" now that you have bought, the other is nothing book.
The device itself:
Very well done. It takes a little more than 250g which is not particularly lightweight but still quite acceptable in a pocket.
Everything falls under the finger naturally.
The flash is manual, you have to clear it out to use it (and it is not motorized) it is one thing to keep in mind when one is evening.
Its offset is correct and should not interfere too much with taking pictures.
Ignition is fast (no more).
Taking pictures between each shot is better than my Sony (who was in the standard)
The screen is good, no problem to see outdoors.
The information is readable (and French)
The menu dial is a little hard, but at least it does not rotate in a vacuum.
It was obviously a variety of types of shots.
Despite all this set of possibilities there is one that (me) missing is that of making a 180 ° to make a panorama (Sony does very well and very simply).
However, the "software" (which does not come with ...) can do it with several shots.
The zoom is impressive stability.
Even deeply we feel the whole stabilization system that works and softened while trembling.
The big "plus" is the button on the left side that can "fix" about even moving with zoom, seeks and keeps the device. Very very good idea that avoids "lost" about being zoom or movement.
For the Canon shot did things well.
In the evening the resolution is correct but not as good as on my old Sony (especially without flash).
It is relative because with the long expo is obtained pictures quite correct (be careful I highly recommend using a tripod).
The video is very good, full HD (I'll spare you the technical specifications that can be found in the description), just to tell you that on my screen Led salon it makes it very very well.
Color, zoom all there.
Only one thing missing: taking pictures during a video.
Frankly except that little detail the video mode has done its office.
Remains the last point: The transmission of images on other media (pc / mac / mobile)
This device has wi-fi (they removed the gps consuming and requires a lot of time to calibrate) saw that we have no connection cable (supplied) must transfer the photos by wi-fi.
Via my mobile (you will need a smartphone, I have a Nexus 4 Android but I guess they have planned an App ios) requires:
1 - download canon Application
2 - open a wi-fi connection point
3 - start gun app
4 - to recognize the device (for that you need to return to the device's menus to be visible
5 - connect to password.
Both say right away: THIS IS NOT VERY PUBLIC!
But I concede that everything worked the first time.
Therefore this app allows you to transfer the photos on his mobile, cloud, SMS, email, etc.
The computer is another thing because at the moment I only used my old memory card adapter which makes things much easier.
In conclusion:
Not to change additional accessories to acquire (and greatly simplify life) will weigh a bit the bill (carrying pouch, USB cable, memory card adapter, high-speed memory card)
I remain disappointed enough the need to have a mobile / computer with mastery of wi-fi ... To recover photos.
While the unit itself is very good. Even this price level.
The zoom is great, stability perfectly mastered.
Ergonomics are good, clean finish.
In short, this device is very well made and will fill any home use.
