Best Album 2012 !!! 1

At first anticipated, I have House Of Gold & Bones Part1 had the day before publication in the postbox, I wanted to listen to them even before I went to work (an hour late :-)). It was worth it !!! In my opinion, it is not only the album of 2012, but also the best Stone Sour album.
Here the song descriptions:

Gone Sovereign: The first single. Very short intro, really nice Staccatogewitter, excellent vocals by Taylor. Percussion sets in and then go to the point. Slipknot Similar but far from melodic. Super song.

Absolute Zero: probably the second single, but absolute is understandable :-). My highlight on the album. Groovy rock song. In chorus sing-along factor. Not only musically but vocally the best that have ever made Stone Sour, mega good song !!!

A Rumor Of Skin: Slide guitars begin this also good because groovy song, the chorus wirds also correct to sing along and toe-tapping. Maybe not as good as the first two songs but also good song.

The Travellers, Pt1: I've always heard the album should partly by Pink Floyd sound, now you know why. A short but great ballad that might just come by Pink Floyd. Very beautiful acoustic guitar accompanied by a no less beautiful slide guitar. The whole still wonderful with Taylor's voice. Goosebumps song !!!

Tired: A power ballad, reminds me of Inhale by 1.Album, but with some great strings in the background. Not only musically (again) but also vocally great what can be heard here. Single-factor in my opinion !!!

RU486: Short speech intro, then you go back more to the point, perhaps the hardest song on the album. Could also be so derived from Slipknot. Good as well

My Name Is Allen: A mid-tempo rocker that could also be found on the 2nd Stone Sour album. OK

Taciturn: Another "Pink Floyd" ballad, this time a little longer than Travellers Pt1, Acoustic guitars and stripped down from the minute 2:58 Schalgzeug uses. Great guitar solo. Could also be a single.

Influence Of A Drowsy God: It goes directly over into the next song, the beginning rather electronically, then a little more rock in the mid-tempo style, from Minute 2:55 surprised the song with a bit more hardness, but unfortunately only too short. All ok but nothing more.

The Travellers, Pt2: Unlike Pt1 rockier entry, then short piano parts that are in between completely accompanied by the band. At the end of the song, there's a way Outtro what can surprise the expectation for the last song. Also quite ok but nothing more.

Last Of The Real: Strong bass entry before the album again back down to business in the form of mild severity. Taylor sings as beginning on Slipknot albums, but then in turn very melodic. Very mitwippender song. Groovy.

Conclusion: A very good good album, I'm curious as House Of Gold & Bones Part1 is sound and whether I will then again ranwagen to a review. Until then given me this but a lot of listening pleasure. Thank Stone Sour !!!
