Reinhard Mey with his third album

From my Diary (Audio CD)

Customer Review

40 minutes of music spread over twelve songs, including this third published in 1970 as LP album by Reinhard Mey, including the classic "The Ballad of the piper." Accompanying Ensemble Pepe Naumann and The Rosy Singers are given.

We also find in twelve stories, whose words and music by Reinhard Mey originate. Small, well-presented and put forward stories like "In My Garden", "You, my friend", "swan", "Howdy, Yesterday"; Stories, thought-provoking.

The unemotional music and lyrics form - as Reinhard Mey usual - a unit and complement each other perfectly.

Attached is a 12 page booklet that contains the discography to this album a discography of albums until 1986, the lyrics and the plate text of the first publication of 1970. Only in the song "Come, pour 'my glass again a" is - as at a Vorrezensenten noted - only listed the first verse. Moreover, the texts are rewritten relatively small, but in doubt with glasses because it legible.

All in all, see also here one of the first and also a very nice album by Reinhard Mey, which each Reinhard Mey fan its five star is likely to be worth.

And what is also sure to be enjoyable, you can find the album over and over again here at Amazon offer "3 CDs for 15 euros". Even if you do not you accept this offer, this album is worth every penny (and actually even more) value.
