Retro Rock

After her comeback album This Is Rock'n'Roll 2002, which in my opinion was not quite as successful, the Quireboys have now their new album in the box.
On Well Oiled bring the British its distinctive retro Hard Rock as their starting times as Ozzy Osbourne's wife Sharon, the band recorded under contract.
While Well Oiled can not keep up with her 1990 debut album A Bit What You Fancy and the successor Bittersweet & Twisted, but it rocks back. Unlike This Is Rock'n'Roll, but the partly tired and listless came over.
Songs like Good To See You, The Finer Stuff or very ajar to the Rolling Stones Sweet As The Rain convince immediately.
In the tape, in addition to the original members of Spike Guy Griffin and Nigel Mogg new musicians Paul Guerin, Keith Weir and Pip. The band has demonstrated here that the enthusiasm has not yet been lost. On Well Oiled you can hear that this music will never die and we must hope that it comes back with the Quireboys upwards.
