Training

I conduct personalized, on-site training in the PostScript programming language. There is no set course length or curriculum. The training is completely customized for each unique customer. The focus will be on learning the PostScript skills unique to your production workflow, current skill level, and equipment. For example, if you're a transactional printer who needs to do post-production work on customer-supplied PostScript files, your goals and requirements are different than a company developing a web-to-print system.

PostScript Development & Recent Projects

I also perform contract PostScript and Web Development programming. Recent projects include:

• original author of the COIN eCommerce platform
• wrote ASP.NET system to consume XML financial data and produce personalized annual reports
• wrote memory-resident PostScript code for Europe's 3rd largest bank - the code is resident on all laser printers in all bank branches throughout the EU - the program "scans" incoming print streams, and based upon the content, images the correct departmental full-color logo
• wrote PostScript code library for an online "Build your Business Card Online" company in Switzerland
• hired by Xerox to train VIPP developers (and others) in the PostScript language
• coded internal HelpDesk application in C#/ASP.NET for large financial printer
• consulted with PIA/GATF on a technical project
• appointed moderator of the HTML/CSS/JavaScript forum on www.daniweb.com, a very large technical community
• Wrote many other PostScript code snippets and programs for many companies.
