BMM was the second album of Placebo I've bought (the first was sleeping with ghosts) and I'm still thrilled. Meanwhile, I've gained the anderern two albums and have come to the conclusion that one of the best and most creative placebo bands is there (if not at all the very best). I've noticed that the songs are getting lower and sound adult. During my debut album has already fallen at first hearing, I have a long time used for BMM and especially SWG. But what means anything negative ... I can not say exactly what is the best of the 4 works, so I decided to write to all a review. Since I start with BMM alike. The album is quite electronically los which distortion by using the key in Man (one of the best songs) somehow disturbing .... (I think that's the right word, you can not easily describe) acts. Days before you came equals much more rocky but still melancholic. Special K is also a very good song because the interaction between verse and chorus sounds totally harmonious. The next song is Spite and Malice is quite unusual but by Justin Warfield (!) Rap parts very interesting. Passive Aggressive is a song that sounds so sad and beautiful that one hardly dares to breathe. Black Eyed, Well to have to say anything right? ; O) Now one of my favorites next: Blue American. The piano fits perfectly with Brian Molko's (damn horny) voice, but the unusually deep sings in this song. Slave to the wage was one of the songs I liked right after the first hearing. Somehow it sounds carefree - or at least more carefree than the others. Drug Warning Song Commercial for Levi impresses with very serious text combined with a simple children's song-like but very beautiful melody. And now my personal favorite. Heamoglobin is certainly one of the best Placebo - songs. He sounds just indescribable .... (na as it sounds because ??? !!!) not somehow threatening and rocky but then somehow .... Brian's voice sounds muffled and far away behind a wall of hard guitar sounds .. .man can not describe it really. Narcoleptic Personally I like not sooo good but is a very nice song. Peeping Tom is also not really my thing but the hidden track makes up for it. This absolutely Perfect String deposits make the song sound heavenly beautiful. So we have arrived already at the end. The album I can definitely recommend it. I am one of the few people that the disc is not worse than that found everyone vowed WYIN - it just sounds somehow differently .... and denoch 100% after placebo !!!!
