So what is new (and by Brian Newbould masterfully from designs by Schubert "completed"):
The Symphony No. 8 in B minor is accompanied by a 3rd set and rounded off with a final piece of "Rosamunde". Furthermore, a 7th Symphony (four movements) and a 10th symphony (in three movements) were reconstructed and a two-movement and a four-movement symphony fragment completed.
It can be heard a total of 14 "new" Symphony by Schubert sets with a total length of 100 minutes.
This mostly really wonderful "new" works Schubert are probably a weighty argument for buying this box! A Schubert lovers should not miss.

Addendum: as now unfortunately often win the recordings with a careful digital post - are more vivid and colorful. Too bad that apparently increasingly with radio old recordings are thrown without optimal digital remastering onto the market.

Of the total expenditure of the "official" 8 symphonies me the recording of Riccardo Muti and the Vienna Philharmonic particularly like!
