Love Marriage & Divorce (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Babyface has always been a major producer for me, when it comes to R & B. Especially in the 90s, he has produced and written hits for the likes of Mary J. Blige, Boyz II Men, TLC, Eric Clapton, Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown, or the great Aretha Franklin. Among them was 1992, a 25 year-old aspiring singer named Toni Braxton. Babyface that time, a large part of their debut written and produced in association with LA Reid. Just with these magnificent and now world-famous singer, he has now, 22 years later, released an album together. This is called "Love, Marriage and Divorce." What is lyrically describes nothing better than the title of the CD itself. It's about the love and the difficulties that often this entails. Up to the separation ... or do you manage it?
All backed by quiet very soulful tunes, a reminder of the 90s of the R & B / Soul, yet fit in 2014 which.
Who expects electro beats or songs for the clubs is wrong here. This CD is for relaxing, quiet and beautiful days in life ... but it is also for the sad.

In such a project, in which these two legends together want to make music and thereby build as strong of old times, of course, the right label can not be missing. So perhaps it is no accident that this CD is about the legendary Motown label. A label that has released CDs by Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Rick James, Lionel Richie, Boyz II Men, Erykah Badu and Akon.

So for all fans of quiet soulful R & B, as it was made earlier more often. My best recommendations and 5 star.

Playing tips: Of course there are tracks that I particularly like to listen to it, such as Rollercoaster, Hurt You, Where Did We Go Wrong or D The World. But I think this can best enjoy this album as a whole works. When I had first heard, I had arrived at the end of The D World, the music went out it was quiet and I was thrilled. I have not been looking at the tracklist, or ensured, in which piece I am. It was simply a coherent album from beginning to end. The album sounds as a unified whole and that you have today very rare.

So just listen to the music or listen to the music incl. Video of Hurt You. If what you heard as you like, you can access calm. Generally for fans of Babyface or young Toni Braxton speak from a recommendation.
