The Dire Straits, it had always been it, still make with sophisticated guitar hooks and elaborate SoliĊ½s cool, carefree music. Especially on "On Every Street" they proved that again. The album boasts beautiful rock, which for example in the car just part fun. "Calling Elvis", "The Bug", "heavy fuel" or "When it comes to you" just come over just casual and drag the corners of the mouth up to me. The Blue fans will get their money with "Fade to Black" and the absolute highlights "You and your friend" and "Planet of New Orleans" (one of the best DS-songs ever) - easy non-upgradable songs - Hammer! Very beautiful ballads there's the title track and "Iron Hand" also. Only "ticket to heaven" coincides with the set strings deposits and shallow Country-style out of the ordinary. I hear this album and listened very happy, because it has mE unique character. The highly acclaimed albums from the 70's / 80's in all honor, but also the early 90s conjured the Dire Straits a handful of pearls produced - namely in this last DS-album! Clearly: Full credit.
