Even more than on the debut, the band plays the soft-loud game. She puts the same energy to the day, it is, however, a more pointed and effective. The created works played conscious and thought through, without attending proliferation, for which the band is known to lose. The production sounds like it should sound and is tailored to the songs.
As for the musical spectrum, we find a rich palette. Songs that forward dash (most notably "Totally Natural" and "A Perfect Teenhood"), airy numbers as "Clare de Lune", "Flood Of Red", plus the classic "Mistakes & Regrets" and "Aged Dolls" , My favorite: "Blight Takes All". Permeated the album is also with some instrumentals, before it finds its end in the melancholy "Sigh Your Children". Another Perle, a worthy conclusion.
"Madonna" is definitely a highlight in the band's history, can keep a few later works of Texans with its intensity.
