Customer Review

It took a long time to be able to really define in this panel. "Mumford & Sons" were the big surprise a few years as the global charts could occupy itself with an idiosyncratic folk mix gradually before. The slightly dusty or rather conservative genre (conservative as strong tradition fraught) experienced a kind of rebirth, which, interestingly, was hardly successful imitators. Alone "Of Monsters and Men" could fit into the category, but who brought their own style to the genre. Now the question arises, as "Babel" cuts. On one side consequence is attested, accused on the other hand lack of ideas. In principle, both opinions are understandable and comprehensible. Nevertheless, there are a few reasons why every music lover should have this plate are on the shelf.

If a band has a very typical and unique sound found, it is difficult to choose this unique selling point for just an album as a reproach criterion. Yes, some pieces might be technically sound exactly to find on the first album. The construction and exploitation are very similar, but not sound like copies of the pieces. On the contrary, the new songs are the logical development of recent performance. Instead try unnecessary new bank or wild Stilmixe produce and sell them as innovative, they remain on their own line. Chill sets every successful band the mainstream currently on electronic elements to praise any crossover nonsense as development, even though they all do the same thing. No, "Mumford & Sons" stay true to yourself and do consistently reduce the pace of the song. What remains are intimate musical moments, try the autumn warm emotions in the listener wake. Almost one becomes a whiskey drinker.

Highlights are definitely the title track, the first single "I Will Wait", the very melancholy "Ghost That We Knew" and "Lover of the Light" and "Hopeless Wanderer". The expressive voice of Marcus Mumford carries every song and brings in every tone into an incredible emotional depth. The current pop music may only be after call: Throw the synths out, away from the fair and learn fucking guitar, banjo and mandolin.
