A modern interpretation of Gospel

This CD is perfect for gospel lovers (the artist list reads like a who's who of modern Gospel: Richard Smallwood, Andrae Crouch, ...) who also have a passion for classical music.
First, it sounds just by itself very well, secondly, the implementation / interpretation of the classic work (The Messiah by GF Handel) is very well done. One can find a lot of details from the classical period again; for those who want to delve deeper, an analysis is very interesting. I have taken from the piece Hallelujah (the famous final chorus of the oratorio 2.Teiles) for an exam in the gymnasium on original and editing, but it is very useful.
