A new masterpiece of the genre

After "The Divine Conspiracy" I had a fear that could disappoint me the next album of Epica only - how can you outdo such Topalbum again? Well, Epica, it is actually able to accomplish this miracle.
I agree to my highlights in the following times.

By combining Samadhi / Resign to Surrender album starts the same pompous, also the "A New Age Dawns" saga, which was launched on "Consign to Oblivion", finally continued.

The sixth piece, "Kingdom of Heaven" is also part of "A New Age Dawns" series and is probably the most complex piece that has so far to offer Epica. 13 minutes and 34 seconds the piece is long and offers pretty much anything makes Epica - perfect orchestral and choral use, Simone in top form and forceful growls. This masterpiece is clearly the centerpiece of the album.

It follows the combination of the Interlude The Price of Freedom and Burn to a Cinder that works without growls, yet is one of the harder pieces. But especially the peaceful ending of the song makes this for me so special.

The choir use at Design Your Universe - also "A New Age Dawns" - is special about the last part of the regular album for me.

Overall, I can say that I do not suit you as a single piece of this album, and that's "Semblance Of Liberty". This may over time change yet, and it's not a total failure for me.
Overall, it's clearly the best album of Epica so far, and deserves full credit and the strong buy recommendation. Nice that you can rely on Epica at least after bands like Within Temptation and Nightwish with their last albums rather disappointed.
