This unique CD includes two original albums of Jacques Loussier trio in the late 50s, piano, bass and drums. For it is jazz in question. Based on the original scores by Bach, Loussier gives a purely jazz interpretation of these tunes, melodies and fugues whose initial rhythms lend themselves wonderfully to these jazzy interpretations. The result is amazing, which made the immense success of these originally taken. We appreciate the respect of original scores and the very delicate subtlety with which the trio introduced the rhythmic and modern instruments in the interpretation. However a small doubt about the quality of engraving for two pieces "jump", I'll check on other CD players. Otherwise superb remastering. For fans to associate with a listening of the same themes by Swingle singers.
