Donna Summer and Giorgio Moroder had probably a preference for concept albums because of Album 2-5 up stories attracted by the music. In this case, a (gross) journey is made through the development of soul music and so encountered the Motown sound of the 60-ties of Holland / Dozier / Holland (Back in Love Again) or the 70-ties of Norman Whitfield (Black Lady ), the sounds of Phil Ramone (Love 'unkind), the Philly sound of Gamble & Huff (Can not we just sit down), on the disco sound (Take me) to a title of the Giorgio Moroder said that as the music of the future sounded (I Feel Love), after which he was ridiculed by critics rather contemptuously. But he was right, because the triumph of synthesizers and electronic sounds was unstoppable from then on. And he gave the duo Summer / Moroder another No.1 hit, just like the title 'Love's unkind "and" Back in Love Again'. And so this album in a typical 'Munich-Sound' itself has become a milestone in the soul and disco music.
