Although I have a "knack" for computer stuff and generally get along better than the average user, I am sorry to say that this program is confusing and not self-explanatory.
Simple tasks, such as create, for example, a single-line text, which
- The text field as normal text length adapts (ie, no line break will be inserted and the font is not automatically smaller)
- The label length normally adjusts the text field length and
- The text is centered normally on the label,
require adjustments in various items which are somehow unfortunately difficult to remember and hard to find if you do not use the machine every day:
Select Printer
Choose Bandwidth
Text toward horizontal
Tape length automatically
Text field length on automatically
Center text horizontally
Center text vertically
Font size and font size
Will you have a few weeks later a label create, you have to re-familiarize themselves again because one has forgotten what is needed to solve this simple task. This takes the label design every time forever.
Conclusion: I create the labels only to the device itself without a computer connection. This was but for me the purchase criterion for this device.
Program and aid are the way in English, which does not bother me personally, but for some perhaps represents an additional obstacle.
In addition, a section is ejected and cut of 21mm at each label at the top, which makes 10 labels before fleet 21cm band for the dustbin. I can not think of any reason why this should be technically really necessary. My old device, in which the tape had to be cut off manually and after decades still works, which did not need anyway.
