Beware of warranty!

Good product, very convenient to use. The opening time is a bit short at times, but is not (too) penalizing. Note that after seven months, like other customers, the lid will not open, be it via the manual button or detection. At issue: the electronics responsible for reversing the polarity on the motor. Contacted about this, TecTake refuses to support the product (even by paying the repair) on the grounds that legal guarantee of conformity is only 6 months. This is of course false: the warranty is 2 years; the 6 month period only concerns the time for which the client does NOT prove that the product was defective upon delivery. In this case, it is clear that it is the good-market electronics (Chinese product!) Is involved ... Without wanting to honor its legal commitments, TecTake proposes replacing the lid for 20 ... A little ashamed, when only a small room, with a value of some EUR is involved ...
