I bought this book for my 14 year old son but as he was not interested, I read it and although a little confused at the beginning, I was quickly captivated by this story. I had a little trouble to get into this strange world where all humans have a "daemon", which represents (d after what I understood) the soul of each human being as an animal. Animals have a preponderant place in this world, especially the bears that represent a nation in its own right with its own rules, its king. Let's say that we must accept to get carried away by the overflowing imagination of the author and do not try to hang on to things too down to earth if you want to appreciate the history. What I did after the 50th page ... And now I want to read more.
