So now I care for publication "Born Villain" before. Finally the music is again creative, sick, thoughtful and playful. So Marilyn Manson has to sound in 2012! Among the songs:
1) Hey Cruel World: Starts very interesting and then proposes to correct. Wow so an opener was one of Manson garnicht used more.
2) No Reflection: The first single from the album. Definitely the eingängiste and simplest number from the album. That'S Fun.
3) Pistol Whipped: Slow start the playful songs of the album. Marilyn Manson has finally found his current style. Very interesting number. Certain moments are reminiscent of the "Anti Chris Superstar" time, because you realize that Marilyn Manson finally his style has returned, which is why he was the terror of the 90.
4) Overneath The Path Of Misery: Was well in advance on the Internet known as: "Born Villain Video". Definitely a highlight. Beautifully distraught chorus with the same instruments and disturbing noises. Who would have expected something more ?!
5) Slo-Mo Toin: The album holds on, it just does not come out failure (of which there are so many was the predecessor). Slo-Mo-tion is definitely pretty ausgergewöhnlich (eingentlich Manson-usual). Cool number.
6) The Gardener: In the verses a text is told, which then erupts in a popping chorus us. One is definitely the album: varied.
7) The Flowers Of Evil: One of the few songs that instantly stay in the ear, so the album need a lot of time, so it unfolds. Unfortunately, the least an album time! Beautiful Rocker.
8) Children Of Chain: Clearly one of my highlights. Beautiful dark ballad (far away from the "Eat Me, Drink Me" style), the drifting is made in the ear canals.
9) Disengaged: Starts driving and then breaks in the chorus all the more out. The album is just not on, "Born Villain" remains interesting. Had Manson no longer have expected.
10) Lay Down Your Goddamn Arms: There is a little calmer again. The number reminds me strongly of the "Mechanical Animals" times. General can be found on "Born Villain" many details reminiscent of "Antichrist" and "Animals", just stop for Manson 2012 Design.
11) Murders Are Getting Prettier Every Day: Wow, "Bunring Flag" Greetings. Finally there is a crash in Manson again properly. That's according to recent albums almost unusual sounds. Brilliant.
12) Born Villain: Now comes! Who thought there would be no increase, has not reckoned with the title song. One of the best numbers of Marilyn Manson at all. Varied, disturbing until erupting end. Definitely my highlight on the plate. Who now says, these are the songs boring, has simply not understood the meaning.
13) Breaking The Same Old Ground: here comes the ballad at the end. Since "Holy Wood" there was no Manson ballads more in this way. The crowning glory.
* 14) You're so Vain: Finally, a bonus track, recorded with Johnny Depp. But not a bad number, gave even better cover of Manson. Bring ye all the album no deduction was nunmal simply intended only as a bonus, so he's not listed on the album.
So that was it, the new album by Marilyn Manson. After the first listening test you sit first a little overwhelmed there, one wonders how one should just heard a review. So what happened to me with every album of genius "trilogy" and that means something. In my eyes, the first album of Manson, which can finally connect. Why we went to "Holy Wood" not so ?!
Sonically "Born Villain" is simply brilliant, not overloaded, but a clear but fat sound.
A deduction there unfortunately, the album does not have a booklet and therefore no Lyrics Why ?? Mind must me times a tell, especially with Marilyn Manson, in which the booklet has made the work of art completely. Probably again a new idea of the record companies. Easily make it a really a CD-collectors do not.
Nevertheless, let's do not irritate. Marilyn Manson have finally arrived in the future and sound like they have to sound in 2012. Please do me a favor and gives the album a little bit of more time than as just one pass! Have lots of fun with it.
