Brandon's ego trip

Brandon's ego trip

If Not Now, When? (Audio CD)

Customer Review

50 minutes and 9 seconds I waited for Incubus. On a song like The Warmth, Warning, Earth to Bella or Pistola. Instead, we must listen to the solo of Brandon Boyd and already from the first bar I had inevitably think of pop.

Is this album why Incubus since raises nothing new on the market? Does the band get tired of the egomaniac Brandon Boyd? I was hoping that songs à la Michael Sole with guitars, drums and beats again and burn back into the ear canal, as it is known by Anna Molly or 11 AM. But nothing of the sort. None of the songs is stuck with me and I have to highlight it again, had all the time to feel the band Incubus has taken time out for this album and let Brandon sit alone in the studio.

To learn about Incubus, I can not recommend this album. Compared with all previous boards here very little power and sympathy of this symbiotic nearly perfect ribbon is worn out.

I give only one star: although, as always, Brandon Boyd sings very well and full of feeling. But the other four band members back into the background so that the Incubus brand is not recognized again.
