I have purchased the device for my hobby room, so I can listen to my MP3 halfway there, with no special requirements for hi-fi quality. Hum barely tolerable. Sometimes disappears for no apparent reason suddenly a channel to sound again shortly afterwards properly. - For camping, boat or garage sufficient. For a living room rather not - but that was not my expectation.
