The camera suits me well with larger hands comfortably in your hand and is pleasing compact. The speed is high and the AF precision pleasing. The screen can be not rotate as the E-30 to the side so that you can make a simple self-shots with an outstretched arm, but tend only up or down. At least you can get a live preview via smartphone and the appropriate app and control much. And triggering via touch is also possible to change nice and sometimes faster than the focus area repeatedly. If you have all the focal areas active it can, at least for me, sometimes even to come the focus will unfortunately make penetrant and background in focus.
The JPGs are all outstanding and need hardly any reworking, the RAWs I can save more frequently and Scan only then by RAW when there really critical situations with much backlight or low light, but also in such moments suggests the E-M1 very good and you have to beat around the JPGs already invest some work on the computer.
Especially in combination with the various be selected aspect ratios, the Art filters, integrated HDR and gadgets like the Color Creator, it is equal to design for me pleasant a picture as I see it at the moment than later long working time to invest earnings in retrospect so should get. I am a person who has begun to photograph analog times and have always been rather more invested on the spot in an image as behind the computer.
Since the firmware update 2.0 also live Composite and some other kind of filters have been added, especially Live Composite is a wonderful feature when shooting at night with starry sky or manifold other paraphernalia which you have to first try everything yet.
By M.Zuiko 12-40mm f1: 2.8 It is a perfect combination for a variety of options, you have hardly change the lens because it is so universal. But of course I will have other lenses. With a particularly bright M.Zuiko 17mm f1: 1.8 I can for example also freehand record in the dead of night, and thanks to the integrated image stabilizer even these images are still surprisingly useful!
In short: My full recommendation!
