- WiFi connection very unreliable (updates are needed, Sony!)
- Touch screen only resistive
- Battery life mau, particularly WiFi consumed enormous (2nd Battery indispensable)
- Operation initially confusing, longer training needed
Conclusion: After burned fingers on the Canon EOS M and other lengthy evaluation of competitors, I am absolutely convinced of the Sony. The concept is consistent, the functionality of contemporary, quality excellent. The negative points are negligible in comparison with the positive points.
Alternative: really no alternative but needed another option: Sony NEX6. Unfortunately, this 400, - more expensive, provides for a viewfinder and a built-in flash. Since the NEX5R the supplied flash the camera can still very compact and, thanks to APS-C sensor hardly ever used, also the display is very good in every situation and everything is readable, I can only advise to NEX5R.
