madness store! was first not recognized by the W510 with Quadro Fx 800 M since it has to be plugged into the correct slots, see [1] one must be under the keyboard (the more accessible) and the other on the back and while on the bench, the whole pins out has made. Have it run for 30 hours with memtest -> All super [2]. Right now runs Prime95 [3] with RealTemp [4] so that I can look at the heat development incl. Logging of temperature. Highly recommended for new laptops / desktops overclocked. CPU Temp should be level over a period of 12-24 hours under 80, then live the beautiful long components. but now has less to do with the memory, but higher heat development could zusammenhaengen with ram-exchange.
CAS-times higher than advertised in my store? 9-> 4? The memory should be neat expensive. Possibly also errors of memtest.
Ahja and in this kind of RAM 667Mhz are allowed manufacturers to double the frequency of easy -> 1333Mhz therefore, not be surprised.
Hoechst recommendable memory, subjective speed advantage over 2GB tidy. But I believe that previous memory was incompatible, seemed very unstable.
Oberschmaeh ... Buy cheap laptop, install 8GB of RAM this, BI-WINNING! Samsung is the new Apple :)
