completely misunderstood masterpiece

With this CD, it is a funny thing. When she came out in 1993, I was totally disappointed. Too quiet, too sad, without the usual band in the background. No comparison with "No Jacket Required" or "..but seriously". Since that time I have the CD every now and again and every time they dug out I liked it better. Last week I heard it again and thought to myself that it has even become one of my favorite CDs. If you get used to the somewhat unpolished arrangement of songs and is it no longer distracted, then you can really revel in the beautiful melodies. Both Sides is actually Phil Collins' misunderstood masterpiece.
