Cooking fumes, smoke and power consumption

In the living room with 12 square meters is cooked and fried without hood, the window is over.
Smoked 15-20 cigarettes a day here.
After half an hour to an hour of air purifier has the smell of cooking and smoking significantly reduced. The scratchy throat has also significantly reduced! ))
This is very gratifying!

In the first hours of operation as well as a plastic smell was "blown out" who gave me a headache.
Now there's just a headache if I let the appliance run too long at a time, while the forget ventilate.

Measured Power Consumption:
> 2.5 watts in operation, (only in the 1st min., There were 3.5 watts)
> 0.0 Watt or less than 0.2 watts when turned off with power supply into the wall outlet.
PS: My power consumption meter measures from 0.2 watts.
1 Watt of continuous operation costs 2,20 EUR per year, ie 2.5 Watt would cost of EUR 5.50 in the year cause. At only 5 hrs. On the day it is just about 1.10 EUR per year. That's really awesome little!

It has also been reported here of higher current consumption, perhaps the manufacturer has now improved.

The unit is quieter than my laptop, so very quiet.

Anyone who uses the operating time efficient and sufficiently ventilated can get used to the air cleaner.

Supplement on 18 July 2013:
The power supply was broken (which you can easily find out with a universal power supply). The dealer has quickly delivered a new power supply.
The plastic smell is almost completely disappeared after a few days.
