Nearly 400 chess books are in my closet, and this certainly is one of the TOP 10 degrees. Judit Polgar is the exception of the women's chess. This volume contains only parts and fragments that she has played up to the age of 15 years. Your comments are very instructive, well written and contained several interesting stories about the chessboard. The design of the graphs is such that I (approx DWZ 2000) can track almost anything without board. This makes the book a special pleasure. From my perspective, the book regarding entertainment value and learning effect is absolutely great; and for an amateur player's both important. I am excited about the future volumes.
