\\\ /// GRAPHIC
Visually, "The Crew" solid, no more and no less. In games like "Forza Horizon 2" or "Drive Club" which also appeared in this year, there is not even enough ran remotely and otherwise this is graphically far from being a high flyer. Prettiest fall beside some light effects nor the vehicle models made. Carriages in "The Crew" are in fact quite detailed and provide partly pretty reflections on the paint. The environment on the other hand can be described as consistently sober. Objects such as buildings, facades, grass clippings, trees, parked cars and many many textures are incredibly stale and the overall image the whole also the end times of the PS3 could come. Now many will immediately cry out and say: JAAAA IS STILL OPEN WORLD! IS THAT THE only logical in the size not so SUPER KRASS LOOKS LIKE! ALSO IS GRAPHIC doch nich so important! Basically, this is all a matter of taste anyway, and above all a question of entitlement. I for one expect in a next-gen game the end of 2014, and especially in a racing game of this magnitude, AT LEAST the graphical status of a "Forza Horizon 2", especially if said racing game made by Ubisoft comes. The achieved "The Crew" but not even in the car models let alone in the area, so it is nothing more than solid food, which does not deserve the title "next-gen" in my opinion. On top of it then joined by even occasionally aufploppende objects in the distance and occasionally me a car of the law enforcement is sometimes even geglitcht into his own vehicle. What also bothers me is the strange self-cleaning function of the car. Yes read correctly, the own sled cleans over time simply by itself (after being driven for example by mud). SOWAS stake today, not at all! For the whole game comes after all, no load times, and that's already a lot in the size of the map.
\\\ /// GAMEPLAY
For gameplay there is not much to say. You take all sorts of different cars around the country, which to my mind all feel quite spongy and can be controlled. "The Crew" includes definitely one of the racing games, in which you start trying out the band uses to master the curves. Also bothers me, that's adjusted quite stiff in the rear view camera and the car did not really follow what EHR is suboptimal for the ride. The cars in "The Crew" were the way all equipped with NOS and a cockpit view. In the game, then it's finally become therefore better to get the legendary 510-Tattoo to gain experience points to go up in the driver's ranking and improve your car to participate sending you to new events can, such as conventional races, chases the cops, ramming another car broke down or something similar.
\\\ USA! USA! USA! ///
As a venue for the action and explore the United States, or parts used by the land of opportunity. The map is great ... damn big. May be to the cities visited include, among others, the New York, Dallas, Miami, San Francisco, Detroit, Chicago, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Seattle, St. Louis or Washington. I for one can definitely say that I've never been on a larger map go. In order to clarify the whole a little bit, I'm even with stopwatch San Francisco, drove over to LA to Miami and have for the most direct route around an hour (!) Driving time required. If we add the whole time high for the complete circumnavigation of the entire map, then cheers meal! The size of the map is definitely the highlight of the game, because there is a lot to discover and now who always wanted his geography knowledge of America playful brush up a bit, which has here the chance.
\\\ /// TUNING
Well I like about "The Crew", which you have many opportunities to adapt his car to your own needs. Whether it be in terms of performance or appearance, whether front or rear spoiler, hood, mirrors, wheels, paint or whatever. Also nice are the body kits that always make your own car the perfect vehicle, whether it is for off-road or street.
\\\ /// SOUND & STORY
The story is Fast and Furious / Need for Speed fuss and consistently off the shelf. You play a guy who has wrongfully behind bars for a crime and longs for revenge. There comes an FBI buckle and offers a deal. Your mission: You will be introduced into the largest auto transition of the country and have to get up to the top undercover work around the bosses to take up. It all sounds a little creative and it is also because such a story gabs now really been anywhere, even the characters meet every conceivable cliché. The sound is also just average. The cars sound partially really neat, but then again not or places even slightly lax and inappropriate.
\\\ /// CONCLUSIONS
Ubisoft has not been shown in this year of the best, and now they provide with "The Crew" also one of its most average title from. The highlight of this game is unquestionably the huge game world that invites you to explore. The rest is basically off the shelf, whether the lean next-gen optics, solid sound, the spongy control or tuning. From my side there's 3 stars.
