Positives:
+ Very attractive enclosure, extremely stylish
+ I have the Cam in red - the red looks really great, looks very classy and quality
+ Fits comfortably in your hand, space has in each (Trouser / hand) bag
+ Large display (wonderful if you, for example, think of the mini-display of the A430, those were the days ...)
+ Many functions, including me at the most competitive price, the fisheye function surprised (makes quite funny pictures)
+ Handy scroll wheel to select functions
+ Intuitive handling possible details / explanation on the display
+ Camera is ready for use extremely quickly pressed once on the On-button and you're set to go
+ The videos will be tiptop
+ Images that are taken with macro function, are crisp and sharp
+ The manual is very easy to understand and almost without error (rare nowadays)
Neutral:
= No memory card included (neutral rating because it has nowadays mostly anyway various memory cards for other devices at home. I feel the lack of memory card not come off in the supply of the camera, I was just about surprised that innately even no was there)
= When I compare old photos of my A430 (4MP) with the new the A3300IS (16MP), I'm looking in vain a big difference as a layman. Only the file size makes a big difference for me. Exciting is it, if I let on A3 (for example, calendar, etc.) Enlarge old + new pictures.
Negatives:
- Photos blurred / noisy when photography at dusk and not well-lit rooms. Only when the whole hand, keeps very quiet (and the camera turns off), beautiful photos can be taken even in dim lighting.
- Photos blurred moves object
So much time to my first impression after the first tests. Quite generally, with me doing on the question of whether Canon cameras generally have a night-problem (my A430 has twilight pictures never live ammunition)
