Firmware 1.28p
used storage media:
HDD (USB powered) (Verbatim 250GB)
HDD (with its own power supply via power supply) (Western Digital 500 GB)
USB flash drive (SanDisk 4GB)
Video SDHC card (SanDisk 16GB)
Storage media were properly recognized (other I have not tried)
the device pleased with ease of use.
In order to fulfill my requirements:
Photo playback is fine, but the one in my Philips TV Media Player with image quality, duration and change of use is better.
1080p50 AVCHD (m2ts) from my Panasonic SD99 is displayed, but jerky huge,
The same is true 720p30 with the MOV.
1080i AVCHD, however, not jerky, it presents itself so that the player has a problem with liquid presentation progressive HD content a high bit rate.
(All of the above storage media attempts no improvement in new settings on Media Player, other HDMI cables + Settings and ports on the TV, ...)
Ultimately, the return was for me,
that in addition to my main DV-AVI's (which apparently does not support Media Player) of the Panasonic SD99 are processed properly, not even the progressive HD video 1080p50.
In my case, accordingly, there should video formats are converted, so exactly what I did not want.
Addendum: see FANTEC AluMovie HD in HD does not have any of the above problems!
Conclusion: For home video administration is not well suited to HD playback only with restrictions
