There are two peculiarities that you should consider as adventure fan:
1) The graphics engine is borrowed from a first-person shooter. Although this part really great 3D backgrounds arise these backgrounds, however, the special habit to leave relatively soon in some people pay a certain nausea (and classical Adventurern such people are probably over-represented). That the adventure despite the "deep" vault takes place entirely in two dimensions I - * cough * - after a few minutes frustrated "as I move because back verlixt another one!" comprehended.
2) The puzzles are almost completely "lever" -Rätsel. Somehow always has pressed a button, turned over a lever or a switch to be actuated. Many of these puzzles are classic puzzle-mystery, but some are also skill games where you need accurate button pressing timing or an obstacle course must fly through under a rich time pressure. Although keep in such passages limits for adventure purists are still no-goes high frustration potential. For me, then at such a mystery then the adventure to end, because I quickly lost the desire to repeat an obvious mystery zillion times, just because of the skill parcours my typing skills led very hard on its borders. So be it, until then, the game has entertained me and for the cheap price I will not complain.
CONCLUSION:
Unmechanical is a lovingly crafted adventure. Just casual gamers or "mixed genre" -Spielern it is also highly recommended. Pure adventure gamers should consider whether they like / tolerate the 3D graphics and whether they can make friends with the occasional games of skill.
