Why I forgive just one point? Well, that's easy. When I read "natural", I expect "Nature". What I get are Holzbausteine in clearcoat. As a buyer, I expect that the goods are properly declared. In a "natural module" I expect wood, and nothing else. In any case no clear coat. If I had painted blocks want to have my choice would have fallen on the colorful resort. Moreover, I can not find any certification of the paint used. Not even a TÜV certificate. Not only colorful, but also in clear lacquer pollutants may be present, which damage the genotype or cause cancer. Especially young children are - because of their high Soffwechselrate - very vulnerable to damaging substances. Since I a) the description does not match the content and b) I have heard nothing about the safety of the paint I can actually awarded only minuses.
Apart from the health aspect, I can forgive even deductions for Playability: The plastic surface (ie painting) makes the stones slippery and reduces the fun for young children to zero.
A final word to the packaging: the drum is well packed in a lot of plastic and the stones inside the drum are also wrapped in a tidy stable plastic. But why? If the "plastinated" wood otherwise bad?
For the totally unnecessary packaging waste, there is again a point deduction.
Oh, worse than bad is indeed bad.
By the way, lacquered wood is not even suitable for the fireplace.
