If you have the chance, the game I like to play with a Xbox360 controller and it on Steam or one of the many PC platforms Key is sold off for cheap money again, then necessarily slam! But who will pay more for it (has) or have to buy it on a console for some extra money, is sufficiently rewarded.
Pro:
- Captivating story about a mysterious island (partly reminds the TV series 'Lost')
- Very nice atmosphere with Japanese / Tibetan flair
- Very good gameplay and game mechanics, if one calls his own a controller or it does on console
- Role-playing elements with experience points and interesting weapon upgrades
- Good graphics with an excellent looking Lara Croft (even individual strands of hair moving in the wind on the highest settings)
Mid:
- A real Tomb Raider feeling as with the first parts may not rise so completely, the whole is more reminiscent of the case, but quite simply very well done Uncharted series on PlayStation
- Average, but some places still challenging AI (the kamikaze attacks bring a sweat)
- In some places the graphics in Puncto foresight does not work quite as up to date, but moves still on a good level with a successful setting and an even more successful animated Lara Croft (see above)
Cons:
- Puzzles and explorable grave chambers are not typical here comparatively rare for the Tomb Raider series found
- The menu for upgrades, map overview, fast travel function, etc. could have been designed a bit slimmer and clearer
For my part, therefore, absolute buy recommendation. Who on games like Uncharted, The Last of Us or Overlap Shooter (sorry, even console players'm just) like Gears of War is, can safely access. Those who expect a lot of mystery as in the first part, does not come entirely at his own expense, but in my opinion, nevertheless receives a crazy game. Especially at the price it currently holds as really good ported PC version.
