Since I am professionally and personally very technology oriented, I have a new notebook assumed equal times, and my son helped with the initial start-up.
One should not forget that the new laptops are delivered with a preinstalled operating system (Win7). There is of course a license sticker on the notebook available but there is no installation CD / DVD.
So you should definitely before you use the new notebook, creating a so-called recovery DVD.
This is relatively simple and the tool for this already exists in the software of the notebook.
That's it for now the only downer about the whole thing, because it takes a relatively long time but (almost 2 hours) and there are a total of 5 DVDs required (if you then secures the driver).
So make sure that you enough blank DVDs has in the commissioning.
Otherwise, the Acer Extensa Top.
Very good workmanship, the overall impression is very good quality.
The performance is very good for a notebook (of course it depends on the "content" on).
Wireless reception capabilities are also very good.
The display is excellent and in the current format.
Thank God there is no glare type screen (glossy). Of course, this is a matter of taste, but honestly, who likes have a display that hides?
The battery performance is impressive.
And what is not, of course, many cheaper notebooks, the fan is hardly or not to hear.
Conclusion:
Outstanding notebook that is designed for demanding everyday use more than adequate.
Who would have thought a few years ago that you get a good laptop incl. Operating System at such a price?
