I use the PULSE now almost a year and unfortunately have to state that at this time the app Health Companion (the "Health Butterfly") has never really worked properly, despite constant updates. One has the impression it is just something programmed and the outcry of the users are examined then, what is now gone back into his pants. The last update has finally brought all the links to a halt - no more connection to RunKeeper (responsible for the entry of activities) and now even errors in the communication with MyFitnessPal (responsible for the balance of burnt and supplied calories). So you can forget the whole concept, because the motivation is to deliver it is zero.
As much as I am also excited about the idea, the execution is so poor that I must strongly advise against the purchase. Moreover, I know of several cases in my environment, where the customer complaints ignored and refused to refund the purchase price.
I am aware that Withings user tries to move consistently positive reviews. It would therefore be good if other people would provide comparable experiences once a counterweight so that the assigned stars really reflect the poor image that allows Withings here.
PS: Also on an iPad version of the app you wait even after a year still in vain
