Some of the songs have been already heard in alternative Amy Winehouse-versions in advance. Nevertheless, I have at Lioness feel that the present at this LP versions sound original. Authentic. And significantly different from the already known. Amy's voice sounds fresh and is on the point. The pronunciation clear and understandable. (So completely different than for example with their live Blu-ray). Their version of the standard "Girl from Ipanema" is original and very charming.
The double LP in Aufklappcover is a double-sided printed sheet in which Amy producers Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson its collaboration with Amy describe (and express a lot of respect for Amy) and - similar to an audio commentary on Blu-ray - comment on each of the twelve tracks. Even Amy Winhouses parents Janis and Mitch have their say. It should also be read on the flyer, that for each selling album in Amy's ever a pound foundation flows.
The inside of the Aufklappcovers shows another picture of Amy Winehouse and the complete lyrics to Lioness.
Only criticism: Unusually, the album at 45 revolutions must be played. The reason possibly reveals itself so that can be heard on each side only three songs. Thus you would have to run a few times to hear the complete album for turntables. Also I miss a buyer for vinyl enclosed download code for free mp3 album. Lack USB turntable I can not hear the road thus Lioness on vinyl only, however. This is unfortunate, but not to change.
Total full five stars from me for Amy Winehouse "Lioness: Hidden Treasures".
