Some tracks on this album are real treasures: Wonderful melody, great arrangements, palatable. "Canto a colombia" and "Todo pasa" are phenomenal! Other "chocolates" are less well, especially the title track (Todo tiene su hora) falls short of my expectations. But the album as a whole is not a body of work and a total of a little too well-behaved, the individual pieces independently. They are with +/- 3 minutes song duration also rather short. Its format, the album the previous "A son de Guerra" is (in my opinion the best of JLG) backwards, it has less Sustanz. Therefore, "only" 4 stars.
Addendum 02/02/2015: In the meantime 6 weeks have passed. I hear the CD almost every drive like. My remark that the album was not a body of work, I have to accept, as the rating upgrade to 5 star. "Small is beautiful", would probably be the name. The first 4 pieces have to be heard on a train because they fit so wonderfully together. It is one of the absolute best albums by JLG. I am looking forward to the next!
