Material excellent, but can not install the Windows 8.1 driver Creative

USB input connection (a micro-USB cable is of good length supplied with the camera), output 2 RCA jacks to my amp. The sound is excellent - the card is recognized as a "USB Audio Device" generic and works with the standard Windows driver.

However, you can not install the supplied software, the CD "media toolbox 6 installation CD" to crashes installation (Windows 8.1 64 bit), and the latest version available on the site crashes as support.creative.com ("XUHD_PCDRV_L11_1_02_0021a. exe ").

I have not yet tried the CD "SBX Pro Studio" ...

I am tempted to give two stars, because of the botched software - it's a lack of customer respect - but the sound quality, ease of use, compact and well-finished housing are still very good.
